In the interim, we interpret India’s greatest runs-for-trophy World Cup wins here.

When Namibia was destroyed by India
In the 2003 World Cup match in Pietermaritzburg, India defeated Namibia.
In the opening batting match, Sourav Ganguly’s team ended at 311/2 after Sachin Tendulkar hit a magnificent 152.
With a score of 112. Skipper Ganguly also made a huge contribution.
Namibia was folded for 130 in response, giving India a 181-run victory.
In that match, Yuvraj Singh took four wickets.

The decisive victory over Sri Lanka
Against a formidable Sri Lankan team, India easily won the 2003 World Cup match in Johannesburg.
With 97 from Tendulkar and 66 from Virender Sehwag, the Men in Blue were able to post 292/6 in their 50 overs.
SL, in response, looked nowhere near the hunt as they lost by 183 runs after being skittled out for just 109 runs.
Ashish Nehra and Javagal Srinath, two pacers, each took four wickets.

The decisive victory over SA
India’s 243-run victory over South Africa is ranked third on this list.
Shreyas Iyer, who hit 77 on a challenging Kolkata surface, went a long way toward complementing Kohli’s 101* score.
Temba Bavuma’s team lost wickets frequently and was folded for 83 when chasing 327 for victory.
As previously said, Jadeja was a fifer star.

When Bermuda was manipulated by India in history
India became the first team to score 400 or more in a World Cup match at the 2007 edition.
In their 50 overs against Bermuda in Port of Spain, India amassed 413/5 thanks in large part to a brilliant 119-run effort from Sehwag.
In that duel, Ganguly scored 89 points.
Bermuda was all out for 156 after failing to mount a convincing defence. India prevailed by 257 runs.
