Australia’s victory in the just ended 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup was greatly aided by the southpaw.
Despite being included in Australia’s first T20I series team, he will now return home.

Warner was Australia’s top run scorer at the 2023 World Cup, finishing with 535 runs at 48.64.
He consumed a few fiery centuries.
On November 21, Cricket Australia verified that Warner would not be available for the five-match India T20I series.
Cricket Australia released a statement saying, “Selectors decided Warner would return home on the back of a successful yet demanding World Cup campaign.”

Along with Warner, all-rounders Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh are also returning home, as are speedsters Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Starc.
The World Cup winners, Sean Abbott, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa, will return to India for the Twenty20 International series.
The team will be led by Matthew Wade.
