WPL 2025: A must-win matchup between RCB and UP Warriorz
In order to secure a spot in the 2025 Women’s Premier League playoffs, Royal Challengers Bangalore must defeat UP Warriorz on March 8 in Lucknow.
RCB needs to win both of their remaining games to stay in the competition, as they are currently in fourth place.
They would be eliminated from the race after just one loss.
The Gujarat Giants eliminated the UP Warriorz, who will be looking to finish the season strong.

RCB’s recent struggles and key players
After a promising to start, RCB have lost four games on the trot, raising questions about their form.
The batting is heavily dependent on Ellyse Perry, while Smriti Mandhana is witnessing a lean patch.
To add on, the other batters have been inconsistent too.
On the bowling side, Renuka Singh, Kim Garth, and Georgia Wareham have taken 25 wickets combined, but the team lacks effective fourth and fifth bowling options.
