Details of Ravichandran Ashwin's purchase of stock in the Global Chess League franchise
Co-owner of a chess team is Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
He has invested in American Gambits, a squad that will play in the Global Chess League’s second season.
Tech Mahindra and the International Chess Federation are partners in the competition.
Notably, American Gambits are currently one of the six participating teams.
